Privacy Policy
How we collect, verify, process, and protect your corporate and personal information across the Kassana Enterprises B2B platform.
Legal Notice & Disclaimer
CRITICAL: This document is a generic B2B marketplace privacy policy template provided for demonstration and structural review. It has NOT been tailored to any specific jurisdiction, corporate structure, or local textile regulation. This template must be reviewed and customized by an active, qualified legal professional before being utilized in live legal production or signed by actual users.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies or relates to you and your corporate organization. When registering, submitting an RFQ, or placing bids on the platform, we collect the following datasets:
Registration Data: Name, professional corporate email, account passwords (safely hashed), phone numbers, and job role.
Corporate Credentials: Company name, registration documents, physical address, export targets, production capacity records, and quality certifications (ISO, WRAP, SOC2, BSCI, OEKO-TEX).
Sourcing Parameter Data: Materials specifications, target pricing, quantities, delivery deadlines, Incoterms, and payment parameters specified inside RFQs and quotes.
Activity and Audit Log Data: Cryptographic ledger hashes, status updates, file attachments (photos or video evidence from physical audits or factory updates), and platform interaction history.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is processed strictly for facilitating secure B2B textile sourcing transactions and maintaining system trust:
Verification & Matching: Verifying credentials of manufacturers and calculating matching alignment percentages with buyer specs using server-side AI processors.
Physical Verification: Publishing completed site inspections, milestone logs, and audit outcomes to verified buyers.
Strictly No Third-Party Sales: We NEVER sell, lease, or distribute your personal or corporate identifiers to advertising networks or third-party marketing brokers.
Cookies and visitor data
We ask for your choice the first time you visit and remember it for 12 months, or until what we collect changes. If you're signed in, it's saved to your account so you aren't asked again on another device. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the website, or in your account menu. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a no unless you choose otherwise.
Essential: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and a cookie called kassana_consent that remembers your cookie choice for up to 12 months, and your light or dark display setting. The site can't work without these, so they are always on.
Analytics (only if you accept): a cookie called kassana_vid, kept for up to one year, so we can tell repeat visitors apart. We record pages viewed, the site or campaign that sent you, approximate country from your device's time zone, device and browser type, and page speed. We don't store your IP address with this data, and we keep the details for 90 days and then only daily totals.
Marketing (only if you accept): lets us measure advertising if we run it and show more relevant Kassana offers. No advertising cookies are in use today.
Analytics data stays with Kassana and is not sold. If you create an account, we only send you news and offers if you tick the box at sign-up.
3. Data Security & Platform Audit Logging
We implement robust digital security standards across our infrastructure. User passwords are securely hashed using PBKDF2 with unique salts, and all communication is encrypted in transit using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). Platform actions, RFQ status changes, bid awards, and milestone verification reports are logged into an internal audit trail to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
4. Your Privacy Rights
You retain the right to access, inspect, rectify, port, or request the erasure of your professional contact details from our active directories. If you wish to close your platform profile or submit a data request, please reach out to our privacy team.
We operate under the principles of Data Minimization and Institutional Trust . We collect only what is legally or operationally required to execute audited B2B trade.
